I am new to fitness and a little nervous, will I be ok?

We completely understand what it's like to be a newbie, we were all new at one point.

We know what it is like to walk into an environment that’s new and unfamiliar; it’s natural to feel apprehensive.

This is why we make it our priority to welcome newbies personally when first attending classes. We have an amazing team of CoeActive instructors and members who we call community champions. Our community champions are there to make you feel comfortable in your first few classes.

The members of CoeActive Fitness are a very friendly bunch, and within five minutes, you will feel at ease.

What makes CoeActive different?

Here at CoeActive, we do things a little differently. We understand that Fitness environments like the gym can often feel intimidating, lonely and overwhelming. We took all these uncomfortable feelings and made sure that everyone who joins CoeActive Fitness is supported, welcomed, and given the coaching they deserve to feel confident and empowered in classes. Because social interaction is so important for our mental and social health, we have members who are our 'Community Champions' in every class to talk to newbies and make sure they feel good!

Do you offer Pay-As-You-Go?

No. We offer very flexible memberships which still give you freedom and choice, but with the added benefit of accountability and motivation. Not only is finding cash a total faff in today's cashless society, PAYG does not give you the structure and accountability like our flexible memberships do. Staying consistent is not simply about willpower, it's about habit building. We help our member's build healthy and consistent habits so they remain fit for life, not just for Summer.

What do I wear and do I need equipment?

No need to wear anything fancy here, just leggings and a t-shirt is perfect, some comfy trainers and bring a bottle of water. For some classes you may need to bring a mat, it will say in our class description if a mat is required. Don't worry, if you forget a mat, we usually have spares!

Is there parking?

Yes, Field End Road Infant School has 2 big private car parks and The Ruislip Social Club also has a large private car park. The Royal British Legion has unrestricted parking in all of the side streets, you can also park in Oak Grove car park just behind the hall, next to the Community Centre.
